This is a great high protein food that can be eaten in a sandwich, on crackers, or dipped with celery and cucumbers. You can make any variation your creativity will allow. So I’m just going to give you the basics…


  • 1 whole rotisserie chicken (deboned and shredded) or 2 can of chicken (or substitute tuna)
  • 1 part olive oil mayo
  • 2 parts low-fat cottage cheese (Darigold brand is the creamiest in my opinion)
  • 1 celery stalk and 1/4 onion finely chopped
  • Salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste

Variation Ideas: 

-Add bacon bits and a tsp of ranch seasoning

-Add cherry tomato halves and a little fetta

-Add grape halves and chopped nuts

-Add pickles and mustard

-Get creative! The sky is the limit (almost)!
